The Calp Town Council is installing an innovative outdoor gym with variable-load weights at the municipal sports facilities, next to the Blue Court (Pista Blava), on the south-facing side of the building, overlooking Avenida del País Valencià. With an investment of €125,719, this is one of the few spaces of its kind in Spain: until now, only a similar facility existed in Barcelona, and now it will also be available in Calp.

The new sports facility, designed for outdoor training for people of all ages and fitness levels, will be equipped with
professional weightlifting machines with adjustable weights: chest press, lat pulldown, leg press, shoulder press, horizontal rowing machine, a three-zone cross-training station, and a pull-up station, among other equipment.

All the equipment is designed and certified for outdoor installation , with protective casings covering moving parts and safety systems to prevent entrapment and vandalism.
