Leisure company based in the village of Bubión in the heart of the Alpujarras, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1986.

Cabalgar Rutas Alternativas is a member of AGETREA. Our main activity is horse-riding. We organise rides by the hour and, particularly, treks of several days on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada. We also run incentive trips for companies, including mixed programmes in jeep and on horseback, picnics and visits to the most interesting places in the area such as museums, artisans’ workshops, w

ine bodegas and serrano ham curing establishments. For groups with a minimum of 4 people, we offer tailored treks to suit your preferences. Do not hesitate to contact us in order to let us know the type of route you are interested in.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Clandestino 🤍

For over 20 years, he carried our guests through the hills of the Sierra Nevada and the Tabernas Desert with grace, patience, and an unshakeable spirit. He knew every trail, every breeze, every golden sunset over the countryside — and he made each ride unforgettable.

Among the pictures, at Narila's entry, you can see Clandestino with another of our historic horses on our rides, Candela.
