A few photos from a spectacular walk we did yesterday in Madeira, on an off day between groups. We walked from Machico along the Lavada de Caniçal to the cliffs at Boca do Risco and then back via Pico Castanho.

A surprise Mountain Wednesday (Miércoles de Montaña) in the snow in the Redes Natural Park in Asturias. I've tried to make Wednesdays my, without fail, day in the the mountains. There was a surprising amount of snow up in the woods above Pendones. We also found a bit of, very new looking, fixed ropes and via-ferrata in one of the gorges that we'll be testing soon!
