On our way back to La Rosilla after a fab hiking trip to Ireland – and oh, the food! 🇮🇪💚

From late-night spice bag chips (yes, they’re a thing – salty, spicy, and strangely addictive 😅) to belly-busting full Irish breakfasts that kept us going all day.

Comfort pub grub, local sausages, venison and stews. Puds, crumbles and Bailey's cheesecakes, and just a few Irish coffees 😜

I cooked dinners in the youth hostel kitchen, made some very DIY packed lunches on our bed (Backpacking life!), and soaked up all the flavours along the way.

The big finale was a celebration treat to ourselves – a Michelin star chef’s table. Tiny plates, big flavours, and a seriously special way to end the trip.

Needless to say, although burning many calories each day, I've certainly made up for it and more.

Feeling full of inspiration (and potatoes), and ready to get cooking back at La Rosilla and In need of sunshine and salads and cheap glass of wine 😁 🥔🍽️✨

We've had a very much needed wholesome few days, diy'ing, gardening, hiking and relaxed cooking. Delicious healthy food,from our veggie patch. Even made my own mozzarella, butter and Caesar dressing.

A hectic but great week, small world moments and behind the scenes work. Needed to recharge and get more training in whilst we could, for our upcoming hiking adventure. The perfect day in nature and a beautiful route. We even stopped for lunch at the Oldest Venta in Andalucia,de Alfarnate dating back from the 13th century.

Hiking in the week, rather than a Sunday has its benefits of being able to get a table.

I then ended up on TV for Andaluza Directo, eating lunch and sampling the restaurants fayre, wish I'd have known I wasn't looking my best after a hot hike 😜.

I even had a speaking part "Viva las migas de Alfarnate" 🤣.

If you live locally and have time I thoroughly recommend the route,the countryside is truly in all its glory.
