Conexión con la historia y el tiempo 🌳⏳
Caminar bajo la lluvia entre estos gigantes es viajar en el tiempo. 🌧️✨

Hoy he saludado a „El Abuelo“, un castaño que lleva 525 años abrazando la tierra.
Mientras el agua resbala por sus hojas, pienso en todo lo que ha visto: reinos caer, siglos pasar y estaciones cambiar, mientras él sigue aquí, ofreciendo su sombra y su calma.

Un auténtico baño de verde que te recuerda lo pequeños (y afortunados) que somos. Respirar este aire es conectar con la memoria viva del bosque. 💚🍃

Un dato curioso para tus comentarios: Si tiene 525 años, ¡ese árbol nació casi al mismo tiempo que Colón llegaba a América! Es un superviviente nato.

Toledo has a special glow on the 1st of May. ⛪️🔔 Under the mantle of the Virgen del Valle. Where the Tajo River embraces us and the Virgin watches over us.

🌿 Tomorrow here in Toledo, we have a simple plan: head up to the Valle, ring the bell 🔔, and enjoy time with family and friends from the best balcony in the world.

After longtime no posting I’m back and today I have something funny for you. One of so many funny gargoyle you can find on the roof of the Monastery San Juan de los Reyes.

As you can see it’s honestly a monk with a beard, dressed in a monk’s robe and on his left side a ✝️. Did you know that this gargoyle is presenting a Franciscan monk?

Considered one of the most beautiful Gothic temples in Spain, 📍the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes was conceived as the burial place of the Catholic Monarchs and belongs to the Franciscan monks.

And I discovered today something new. I never payed attention before. Have you seen this beautiful details on the pinnacle? In form of leaves 🍂 and flowers 🌺, me too 😉.

And I still discovering my adopted home and of course I’ll share it all with you. ☺️
