The town’s inhabitants are dressed in antique costumes, streets and squares are according to the festival. This medieval festival is great fun for the young and young-at-heart.

Sant Pere Pescador, August 2023

ACA (Catalan Water Agency) has announced water restrictions in 22 municipalities, introducing more measures against the drought in the northern county of Alt Empordà and in Baix Camp in the south. Sant Pere Pescador is among those villages.

According to ACA, water levels in reservoirs are at 27% right now.

The measure will come into force from next week, once it has been published in the Catalan Official Gazette.

WAYS TO SAVE WATER AT HOME

As a guest you can help us by:

1. Shorten the time you spend in the shower. Take a shower of 5 minutes or less. That will save up to 70 liters per shower.

2. Stop using the toilet as an ashtray or wastebasket.

3. Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth & washing your hands.

4. Don’t keep the tap running while washing clothes/utensils.

5. Make sure the dishwasher or washing machine are completely full before running it.

6. Fill up a jug of water and put it in the fridge instead of running the tap to get cold water.
