The Emilia Romagna Senior Open 2026 brought three memorable days of golf, competition and camaraderie to the heart of Italy from October 7–9!
With three outstanding courses on the programme—Golf Terre di Canossa, Golf Club Bologna and Modena Golf & Country Club—players enjoyed a wonderful taste of Italian golf, complemented by the region’s famous food and warm hospitality. The event opened with an 18-hole Better Ball competition before the focus turned to the 36-hole Individual tournament.
Italy’s Emmanuele Lattanzi claimed the Professional title on home soil with an excellent total of three under par. Canada’s Martin Lachance finished second at level par, while Brendan McGovern and Wayne O’Callaghan of Ireland shared third place with Sweden’s Andreaz Lindberg at two over par.
Sweden’s David Olsson delivered a superb performance to win the Amateur Gross title at two under par, finishing ahead of Hungary’s Jos Gal and Italy’s Alberto Apicella. David also topped the Men’s Net standings, while Switzerland’s Patricia Breede led the Ladies’ Net competition ahead of Heidi Hansen and Jolanta Zabarauskiene.
The opening Better Ball set the tone for an exciting week. Andreaz Lindberg and Danilo Navo topped the Net standings with an impressive nine under par.
A huge thank you to all three host clubs and Emilia Romagna Golf for their hospitality and support. Thank you also to every player who joined us—the friendly atmosphere, shared dinners and international company are what make these events so special.
Next stop: the Andalucian Senior Open at Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort, November 20–22! The season’s final stretch is here, and we look forward to welcoming many of you to Spain for more great golf and wonderful moments together.
