A new chapter for Nordes. 🌊
After months of quiet work behind the scenes, we’re excited to finally share that Nordes Surfhouse will be taking over the iconic Pensión A Cochera in Esmelle, Galicia.
What began years ago as a small surfhouse built around waves, community and coastal living is now evolving into something beyond just a Surfhouse. Still deeply rooted in surfing and the ocean, but opening its doors to all kinds of travelers along the way.
Surfers chasing swell.
Backpackers exploring the north coast.
Pilgrims walking the Camino.
Weekend travelers looking for a slower pace.
A place shaped by salty mornings, post-surf sunsets, shared meals, good conversations and the simple rhythm of life by the ocean.
Our goal is simple. To create a space that feels warm, welcoming and connected to this corner of Galicia we’ve always loved so much. Somewhere people can arrive as strangers and leave feeling like they found a little home on the coast.
There’s still plenty of work ahead but seeing it slowly come together has made us more excited than ever for what’s to come.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Nordes over the years and helped us reach this next step.

Un nuevo capítulo para Nordes. 🌊
Después de muchos meses de trabajo, por fin podemos compartir lo que viene.
Esta temporada, Nordes Surfhouse empieza una nueva etapa tomando las riendas de la emblemática Pensión A Cochera, en Esmelle.
Lo que nació hace años alrededor del surf, las olas y la vida junto al mar, hoy evoluciona hacia algo más. Manteniendo nuestra esencia, pero abriendo las puertas a todo tipo de viajeros.
Surfistas.
Mochileros.
Peregrinos.
Viajeros buscando bajar el ritmo y conectar con la costa.
Queremos crear un espacio cálido, auténtico y acogedor. Un lugar donde sentirse un poco en casa junto al mar.
Gracias a todos los que habéis formado parte del camino de Nordes hasta ahora. Esto también es para vosotros.
