We have lots of availability still in 2025 - prices range from £650-750 for a week. The house sleeps up to 6 people plus an under 2.
Our house is 6km from the airport and there are regular flights from most UK airports.

We are 80 metres from the sea, 5 min walk to the beach and 1-2 min walk to bars and restaurants.

It's a quiet, gated complex in the heart of Caleta de Fuste.

We would be happy to answer any questions about our self catering experience.

We first started renting on Amuley Mar 2 over 13 years ago. It was our first time self catering and we had to because we were a family of 5 and it was far too expensive to book an All-Inclusive because not many places cater well for families of 5.

In hindsight, it was the best decision we made. We chose a house on the complex because it had Next curtains 😂 We then rented this same house, every summer holiday for the next 10 years.

We then bought this current house.

Our experience of Fuerteventura and in particular Caleta de Fuste is as follows:

1 - The distance from the airport is a big plus. It is only 6km away.
2 - Everything is close, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, marina and beach is a 5 min walk and the sea is 100 yards from the complex
3 - You don't need a car (see above)
4 - Reasonable prices in bars and restaurants
5 - Supermarkets on your doorstep - within 2 miles there is a large Eurospar, Mercadona and Lidl. There is also a hiperdino (which is a little more expensive) only 100 yards from the complex.
6 - Friendly location. You meet lots of interesting people and often see the same people each year.
7 - Home from home with enough space to get away from the family if you need. Our home is 3 storeys and 3 bedrooms, with 2 living rooms - which means you can always find a quiet room if needed
8 - The kitchen has everything you need to be able to eat in if you want to or you can ditch the dishes last minute and eat out.
9 - Cheaper than the UK and Ireland. We have found accommodation here cheaper to rent than in the UK and Ireland - especially in the summer holidays. It's hard to even find a caravan to rent for less than £800 per week. Our house is priced between £650 and £750 all year round.
10 - Large pool. The pool certainly helps.
11 - Flights can be extremely cheap at certain times of year and most times you can move accommodation dates if needed.

We ate at our fairly hidden gem in Rosario lastnight La Jaira de Demian Gastro-Bar. Stunning service, amazing food and great atmosphere.

If only my ability to remember to take pictures of the food was as good! I missed most dishes.

Contemporary tapas never tasted as good.

We just had lunch at the newly opened Nur Fuerteventura and it was lovely.

It's only been opened 2 days but if you want something a little more healthy with an emphasis on taste then you should pay it a visit. It's located at the Happy Centre the level above Bar Studs.

We opted for some Italian Tapas and it was lovely.

They specialise in fresh, organic ingredients and there is something for everyone. They also do coffees and smoothies.

The family that owns were called (excuse the English spellings) Emanuele and Fabrizia.

This will be going on the recommend list for our guests.

We will share some insights and pictures of places we are eating and drinking this week to give people an idea of what is about.

We had an early start this morning at 3.30am, so opted for a drink in La Saranda and the takeaway pizzas from Aloha Gardens & PizzAloha , as these are always our favourite pizzas.

€27.50/£23 for one monster 18inch pizza and a normal 12inch pizza.

Easily fed us tonight.

Fuerteventura is in the canary islands, so gets the sun all year round.
Flights go from most UK airports with Ryanair, Jet2, Easyjet and TUI.

This would be a fixed normal 4pm check-in and 11am checkout i'm afraid and we have no manoeuvre on dates due to bookings either side.

I forgot to post the update to our bottom floor patio, but here's the latest pictures. It will also receive a fresh coat of paint to freshen it up.

We are consistently reinvesting money back into the house to improve the experience for our guests and offer something we would have wanted to stay in when we were renting.
