Comments are coming in: Some visitors are complaining that Fuerteventura is “too barren.” But hold on—wasn’t that the idea?

Fuerteventura attracts those who seek open spaces, untouched landscapes, and a break from the overcrowded, high-rise tourism of other destinations. (For that, Tenerife is an option—no shade, just different vibes.)

This island’s wide, cinematic landscapes are exactly why people love it.
Call it barren if you want, but here, it’s a point of pride.

Canarians have fought to preserve this raw beauty, and that’s what makes Fuerteventura special.

Oggi vi consigliamo la spiaggia di Cofete. Stupenda e famosa. Qui è stato girato il film di Ridley Scott Exodus, racconta la storia di Mosè.
