How about a hiking adventure?

One of Fuerteventura’s most iconic and historic trails begins in the beautiful square of Antigua, connecting the town with Betancuria, the first capital of the Canary Islands and one of Spain’s Most Beautiful Villages.

A 5.5 km route with moderate difficulty, perfect for enjoying breathtaking landscapes, traditional windmills, native flora and places full of history.

And at the end of the trail… the charm of Betancuria and its beautiful Church of Santa María.

🇪🇸¿Y si hacemos senderismo?

Desde la bonita plaza de Antigua parte uno de los senderos más emblemáticos y antiguos de Fuerteventura: el camino que conecta con la Villa de Betancuria, primera capital de Canarias y uno de los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España.

Un recorrido de unos 5,5 km y dificultad media, perfecto para disfrutar de impresionantes paisajes, molinos tradicionales, flora autóctona y rincones llenos de historia.

Y al final del camino… la magia de Betancuria y su preciosa Iglesia de Santa María.

Canarian music, traditional games, local flavours and a beautiful day by the sea 💙

This is how we’re celebrating Canary Islands Day at El Castillo Beach.

And we’re not done yet! Tomorrow we’ll wrap up the festivities with a traditional craft market, workshops, children’s activities, bouncy castles, a foam party and live folk music.
