Good morning everyone!

It’s the 1st of October, so down at the harbour this means we’re going into “winter” time🤪. Though we know here in Fuerteventura we don’t really experience winter weather, we still have to adjust our tours and activities a little bit.
The following changes will apply either from today, or in a few days time:
* Oby experience catamaran changes back to 11:00-15:00 ( i know many of you will be happy you don’t need to rush your coffee in the morning😂)
* my kiosk will be open from 10:00-17:00, everyday!
* the inflatables waterpark will be open from 10:00 until 17:30( last entrance at 16:30) and will be closing on Mondays and Tuesdays ( half term might differ, i’ll keep you updated on that)
* all jetski and watersports will be available 10:00 until 17:00
* our island minibus tours are back💃🏼

For any questions and bookings i’ll be waiting for you at the harbour, please remember i’m not answering any questions on the page, so i’ll be turning comments off for this reason.

Good morning everyone!
I have taken the very difficult decision to close this page down. Over the next couple of weeks i will be looking into the admin side of things, to see if i can keep it just as an information page.
I started the page 2 years ago, with the aim of helping tourists and the caleta community with info on what’s available do to in Fuerteventura. In the meantime it has turned into a 24/7 info hub.
For the past 2 years, i have answered every private message or comment, wether it was at 10pm, at 7am or whilst i was on holiday, on top of working at the harbour from 10:00 until 18:00. This was out of my spare time and for free!
I have realised i just can’t do this anymore, as i never get a chance to switch off and enjoy my out of work life, which is what i moved to Fuerteventura for!
I am not going anywhere, you can still find me at the harbour, where i will do my best to help as i have done for the past 5 years.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who believed in me from the beginning of the page, for every share, for every like and mention of my name, to the amazing admins of all the caleta groups who have supported me from the beginning of my page, i will be forever grateful!
P.s for customers who have excursions already booked with me via private message, don’t worry, i am still attending, i just won’t be handling any new enquiries via messages.

On the 15th of sept, we’re coming to meet you all at the Sun, Sea, Caleta annual meet in puerta del sol. Kyoto will be coming along too, and i’ll be available to give details on any of the prizes myself and my partners have offered for the raffle on the day.

Good morning everyone,
I thought long and hard wether i should post this, as i don’t want to be misunderstood, but ultimately, i’ve decided to post this information.
As most of you know i work at the harbour in Caleta, and i welcome lots of new and existing customers everyday.
I attend each person and i’ll happily give information on all our trips and ( as many of you pointed out) also advice on restaurants and other services on the island, including trips i don’t sell( imagine that).
What i have been experiencing lately is a rise in people coming to the harbour, asking me information on everything available to do and then telling me they will be buying it online. Now obviously, every customer is free to buy wherever they want, but please don’t use me as an information desk if you don’t plan on buying with me. I’m a small local business, i can’t compete with big online platforms, but i can tell you this:
*They are not cheaper than me, as i sell the product directly from the company who organises the excursions ( and yes, they advertise in pounds and i advertise in euros, so my prices seem higher)
* they don’t care about the instance where you have a problem with your booking, and you end up at the harbour asking me to help. Unfortunately, if you booked with a third party, sometimes i can’t help you at all!
* they don’t always have the availability or flexibility to open some extra seats on a boat like i do
* they don’t offer you the full info so many times you get to the harbour confused, not knowing exactly what you’ve spent your money on
* they don’t always explain the exact locations you need to go to, so you end up arriving at the harbour late and sometimes missing your boat.
Please bare in mind, if everyone keeps using online platforms to buy, i might not be there next year, as my income is based on what i sell, not the hours i spend at the harbour or the amount of people i speak to☺️
I’m always happy to respond to comments and messages on here, and i’ll continue to serve you all at the harbour, but please support my small business by buying directly from me at the harbour.
Lets have a lovely rest of the summer here in our beloved Caleta, hope to see many of you at the harbour ❤️

My plans were to watch the eclipse from our catamaran , but during my shift at work today i suffered a bad heat stroke episode and had to cancel my plans for the evening.
Luckily, i got to see the solar eclipse through the lens of our camera, though i imagine the view from the sea was much better than my front garden.

I need your help!
My lovely friend and work colleague Valeria lost this beautiful ring around Zanzibar in montecastillo the other day, and she has been desperately looking for it since, with no luck.
If anyone has come across it in Caleta, please contact me, i would love to get it back to her.

Summer’s here and it’s hot, kids get bored at the beach, bring them over to the harbour for a bit of fun!
The inflatables assault course at the harbour is great fun, only €13/ hour per person and it’s open everyday from 10:00-17:00. The best part is that you don’t have to book in advance, just turn up, purchase your wristband and go straight in!
We’ve got life jackets available and included in the price and a lifeguard on duty to make sure everyone is safe!
Minimum age is 6 and minimum height is 110 cm ( and please don’t try to sneak 5 year olds in, we’ll ask for proof of age!)
Last, but not least, i’d like to thank my most loyal waterpark customers, who spend all their holidays with us at the harbour, and yesterday they gifted me with this lovely hand made turtle ❤️. We’ll see you again soon Alexandra & family, we love having you down at the harbour🤗

IMPORTANT UPDATE‼️
As quite a few of my customers have been asking this, i will try to answer.
Protective eye wear: though we have not advertised protective eye wear will be given for this trip, we had the intentions to have them readily available on the boat for the customers who didn’t have any.
However, we have found ourselves in a situation where there are none to be found on the island! We have tried the council, the health centres, pharmacies, shops. Apparently only a small number of glasses have been ordered for the island and they have gone in minutes.
So please bring your own protective eyewear and if you have seen them in any shops around caleta, please let me know so I can buy some for the customers who haven’t got them!
