ROMERÍA A LA ADELFILLA
¡Vive las Tradiciones de Gaucín!

El domingo 24 de agosto, Gaucín cobra vida con una de sus tradiciones más entrañables: la Romería de La Adelfilla. Es más que un simple paseo festivo; es un día para celebrar la fe, la música, la gastronomía y compartir con nosotros.

El Ayuntamiento de Gaucín ofrece transporte gratuito a la Romería para personas mayores y personas sin vehículo desde La Plazoleta.
Servicio de mañana: de 9:00 a 13:00
Servicio de tarde: a partir de las 17:00

PROGRAMA

08:30 – Salida de la imagen del Santo Niño desde la Iglesia de San Sebastián.

09:00 – Comienza la peregrinación por el histórico Camino de Gibraltar.

11:00 – Misa Romería oficiada por nuestro párroco, D. Miguel Ángel Reina, con música del Coro Romero de San Pablo.

13:00 – Verbena popular al aire libre con música en directo del Dúo Malacai.

14:00 – Paella gratuita para todos los peregrinos.

18:00 – Peregrinación de regreso por el Camino de Gibraltar, que culmina en el majestuoso Castillo del Águila.

ROMERÍA TO LA ADELFILLA

On Sunday, August 24th. Gaucín comes alive with one of its most beloved traditions – the Romería to La Adelfilla. This is more than just a festive walk; it’s a day to celebrate faith, music, food, and community in this beautiful village.

The Gaucín Town Hall is offering free transport for senior residents and those without a vehicle to attend the Romería.

Morning service: from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Afternoon service: from 5:00 pm onwards

First departure: 9:00 am from La Plazoleta (Bar La Esquinita

PROGRAM

08:30 – Departure of the image of Santo Niño from the Church of San Sebastián.

09:00 – The pilgrimage begins along the historic Camino de Gibraltar.

11:00 – Romería Mass celebrated by our parish priest, D. Miguel Ángel Reina, with music from the Coro Romero de San Pablo.

13:00 – Popular open-air party with live music by Dúo Malacai.

14:00 – Free paella for all pilgrims.

18:00 – Return pilgrimage along the Camino de Gibraltar, culminating at the majestic Castillo del Águila.

EXPOSICIÓN BÁRBARA SHUNYÍ
"EL BIEN NO HACE RUIDO, EL RUIDO NO HACE BIEN"
Este es el titulo de la exhibición de la artista Bárbara Shunyí. Trabajo que podremos disfrutar hasta el 31 de agosto expuesto en el Centro Cultural El Convento de lunes a sábados 11:00 - 14:00 y 19:00 - 21:00 h. Domingos de 11:00 - 14:00h.
En esta obra, que está compuesta por técnica mixta y grabado no tóxico, podemos disfrutar de lienzos a gran tamaño (entre otros) bajo el título de "EL GUISANTE CABRÓN" que hacen referencia a su encuentro con el cáncer de mama.

"EL BIEN NO HACE RUIDO, EL RUIDO NO HACE BIEN"
This is the title of the exhibition by artist Bárbara Shunyí, a collection we can enjoy until August 31st at the El Convento Cultural Center from Monday to Saturday 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Sundays 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
In this body of work, which includes mixed media and "non-toxic" printmaking, we can appreciate large-scale canvases (among other pieces) under the title "EL GUISANTE CABRÓN", this work represents the artist's experiences during her illness (breast cancer).
