🌒 Did you know that Asturias lies within the path of totality of the solar eclipse on 12 August?

Luarca is also located on the eclipse’s centre line, meaning that the Moon will completely cover the Sun for around 110 seconds in the surrounding area, from 8:26:47 pm to 8:28:37 pm.

To experience it against the horizon of the Cantabrian Sea, the municipality of Valdés recommends several viewing spots, including the road to the lighthouse and the Carrasqueo neighbourhood in Luarca, Busto Lighthouse and La Regalina viewpoint in Cadavedo.

Plan your journey in advance, check access information and always use certified eclipse glasses when looking at the Sun.

Which of these places would you choose to experience this unforgettable moment?
