The Banda Morisca (Moorish band) is a Spanish band based in Jerez de la frontera, Cadiz. There aim is to demonstrate how Muslim music has influenced Spanish music of today, in particular Flamenco as we hear it today. In there one words: “This is our music, there is no denying it, they were here before us and still there influence lingers.”
