أحرف قصر الحمراء

The lyrics of The Alhambra
For the Arabs, poetry was a form of expression. For this reason, the walls of the Alhambra are decorated with wonderful verses, written in every room, corridor and patio of the Nazari palaces. The knowledge of the Arabic language means enjoying the monument in greater depth, as the walls tell the story of the place. The Alhambra is not only visited, it is also read. For tourists who do not know Arabic, but are curious about the subject, it should be noted that, after twelve years of work, a research team, headed by the Arabist Juan Castilla Brazales, has cataloged and deciphered the most of nine thousand messages that populate its corners. Para los árabes, la poesía suponía una forma de expresión. Por ello, las paredes de la Alhambra están decoradas con maravillosos versos, escritos en cada sala, corredor y patio de los palacios Nazaríes. El conocimiento de la lengua árabe, supone disfrutar con mayor profundidad del monumento, ya que las paredes narran la historia del lugar. La Alhambra no solo se visita, también se lee. Para los turistas españoles que no sepan árabe, pero tengan curiosidad por el tema, hay que reseñar que, tras doce años de trabajo, un equipo de investigación, a la cabeza del cual estaba el arabista Juan Castilla Brazales, ha catalogado y descifrado los más de nueve mil mensajes que pueblan sus rincones.
