Every summer, the spirit of ancient traditions comes alive in one of the most enchanting celebrations of Celtic culture: the International Festival of the Celtic World.
More than just a festival, it’s a journey into the heart of a timeless legacy — where music, dance, myth, and nature intertwine to create an unforgettable experience.

🌿 A Gathering of Traditions
Since its beginnings, this festival has become a meeting point for artists, musicians, and enthusiasts from across the globe who share a passion for Celtic heritage. It brings together not only the iconic sounds of bagpipes, fiddles, and bodhráns, but also a rich variety of expressions — from traditional Galician and Breton dances to Irish folk, Scottish melodies, and Asturian rituals.

🎻 Music that Echoes Through Time
On its stages, you’ll hear both ancestral rhythms and modern reinterpretations. Whether it's a haunting solo in the misty dusk or a fiery jam session under the stars, the music connects us — across borders, across centuries.

🍺 Culture, Food, and Connection
Beyond music, the festival offers a vibrant market of artisanal products, local gastronomy, workshops, and storytelling circles. It’s a place to taste, to learn, to share — a space where past and present meet in celebration.

✨ More than a Festival — a Feeling
The International Festival of the Celtic World is not only about cultural expression; it’s about community, identity, and the joy of coming together through shared roots and universal emotions. Whether you arrive as a first-time visitor or a lifelong devotee, you leave with your soul touched and your heart full.

📍 Join the magic. Let the Celtic world welcome you.

San Fermín – A unique celebration 🎉🐂

Every July, in northern Spain, the streets of Pamplona, explodes with energy, tradition and adrenaline during the Fiesta de San Fermín🔴⚪

The origin reminds in the 3rd- century, but the legend of the Saint who gives name to the celebration didn’t arrive in Pamplona until the 12th-century when Pedro de París brought the relic of the Saint’s head 🕊️ patron saint of Navarra 🇪🇸 along with San Francisco Javier. In the medieval context, this meant an expansion of the devotion among the people🙏

Afterwards, other popular events started to appear as the cattle fair 🐄 or different bull celebrations 🐃. Over time, this sum of elements of popular character made the people that the main engine of the celebration🫶

Nowadays, the most iconic moment is the "encierro" (running of the bulls) 🏃‍♂️🐂 where hundreds of daring runners in white and red face against charging bull through the old town streets. But it’s not all danger: music 🎶, parades with gigantes and cabezudos 🎭, fireworks 🎆 and religious processions ⛪ fill the week with joy and cultural pride🇪🇸💃

Ernest Hemingway arrived in Pamplona in 1923 as a reporter from Toronto Star 📰, and three years later he wrote The sun also rises 📖 that made the Sanfermines become universal 🌍, because since then Pamplona has welcomed visitors from across the globe🌐✈️

Whether you're in it for the thrill or the tradition, San Fermín is a cultural phenomenon that’s impossible to forget💥🎊

Would you dare to run? Or just watch with churros in hand? 🏃‍♀️

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗼 (𝗟𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝗼𝗷𝗮)🇪🇸

On June 29th, Haro celebrates one of Spain’s most unique and colorful festivals 🎉: La Batalla del Vino!

Its origin is linked to the death of San Felices de Bilibio ⛪, the city’s patron saint 🙏, in the 6th century 📜. Over time, a pilgrimage 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ to the Cliffs of Bilibio ⛰️ emerged, which in the 20th century transformed into “wine baptisms” 🍷💧 — known back then as “remojones de vino”.

Today, it’s celebrated as a joyful battle ⚔️ where the goal is simple: soak your neighbor in wine as fast and thoroughly as possible 🍇😂, all between laughter 🤣, songs 🎶 and camaraderie 🤝.

The day begins with a mass at the hermitage 🕊️, then the friendly chaos begins 💦 on the surrounding hills — white clothes + red wine = purple pride! 👕🍷

And while you're in La Rioja, don’t miss the chance to visit one of its iconic wineries 🍾 or the Cultural Museum of Wine 🏛️, a tribute to this land’s liquid heritage.

🍷💃 Do you dare to end up soaked… in history and wine? 🥳

🌙✨ The magical night of San Juan – June 23 🔥🎇

Tonight, we celebrate one of the most mystical nights of the year 🌌, full of fire 🔥, tradition 🕯️ and good wishes

It’s time to let go of the old 🕊️ and welcome the new 🌱, surrounded by friends 👯, music 🎶, and that spark ✨ that defines this moment.

The evening has a pagan origin 🧙‍♀️, from the summer solstice 🌞 (Litha), marking the shortest nights and honoring nature 🌿 and the elements 🌊🔥🌬️🌍 Later, Christianity ✝️ adopted the date to commemorate the birth of San Juan Bautista 🙌, who baptized Jesus.

Each June 23, people gather at beaches 🏖️, town squares 🏘️, lighting bonfires 🔥 and launching fireworks 🎆 into the sky.

Some write wishes on paper 📝 and toss them into the fire, while on the coast, others jump over waves 🌊 to bring good luck 🍀

San Juan is a night to connect with nature 🌕, with the cycles 🔄, and your deepest desires 💖. A mix of party 🎉, ancient tradition 🕰️ and renewal 🌠, which year after year, lights hearts ❤️ and bonfires 🔥

Whether in the “Noche de los Júas” in Málaga 🌆, the “Fogueres de Sant Joan” in Alicante 🎭, the “Revetlla de Sant Joan” in Barcelona 🎇, or the “Paso del Fuego” in San Pedro Manrique (Soria) 👣🔥 — every place has its own magic ✨

🌟 What do you want to leave behind tonight? And what do you want to attract? 💭 Tell us in the comments.

𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 – 𝐋𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚🔥🎭

With more than 600 years of history 📜, La Patum is the most important festival in Berga (Cataluña), where fire 🔥 and dance 💃 take center stage.

As part of Corpus Christi ✝️, the city of Berga transforms into a vibrant scenario full of fireworks 🎇, music 🎶 and mystical figures 👺. This celebration is recognized by UNESCO 🌍 as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2005 🏅

Its origin goes back to the medieval Corpus Christi celebrations 🏰, which evolved over time, losing their educative character and gaining pre-Christian and symbolic elements 🌒

Since 1454, La Patum has been celebrated — a fusion of the sacred and the pagan ✨🌀, a true cultural manifestation.

For five days, the streets of Berga are filled with parades 🥁 like the Gegants (Giants) 👣, Maces 🪄 and Plens, devils with green masks and fireworks explosions 💥, creating an electrifying light and sound show 🔊

Everything is launched by The Tabal 🥁 and the Quatre Fuets 🎆, who announce the beginning of the festivities. And the sound that produces the Tabal it's what gives name to the celebration: ¡Pa-Tum!

The celebration culminates in the exciting Tirabols 💫, where the whole community dances together 💃🕺 to the rhythm of the Tabal.

Moments full of tradition and beauty include El ball de l’Àliga 🦅, a symbolic and unique dance.

✨ A curious anecdote: in 2016, the Gegants danced to Bruce Springsteen 🎸 in honor of their anniversary!

🇵🇹✨ 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟑𝐭𝐡 – 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐛𝐨𝐧 & 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲!
Today, we celebrate the soul, history, and vibrant culture of two of Portugal’s most iconic cities: Lisbon and Cascais.

🎉 From the charming cobbled streets of Alfama to the golden beaches of the Portuguese Riviera, this is a day to honor the traditions, people, and stories that make these places truly special.

💐 June 13th also marks the feast of St. Anthony, Lisbon’s beloved patron saint — celebrated with music, food, dancing, and of course… sardines on the grill! 🔥🐟

Whether you're strolling through the historic bairros or enjoying a pastel de nata by the sea in Cascais — take a moment to feel the magic of Portugal today.

📍Happy Municipal Day, Lisbon & Cascais!

𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 – 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢✨✝️

The next June 19th, the streets in Spain will be celebrating the institution of the Eucharist 🙏

Its origin is found in the medieval times thanks to Santa Juliana de Monte Cornillon and Pope Urban IV. In 1264 it started to be celebrated in all the Christian territory 📜 and we celebrate it 60 days after Easter Sunday, always on Thursday.

The Corpus is celebrated all over Spain 🇪🇸, but there are places where it’s lived with a deeper feeling 💫. In Toledo, the Procession has been declared a Festival of international tourist interest 🌍, a majestic parade where the Custodia goes across the decorated streets with flowers 🌸, plants 🌿 and historic canopies, with the company of the religious brotherhoods.

Our loved Granada ❤️, Zamora, Sevilla 🌆 or La Orotava (Tenerife) 🌺 are also known for the paragon of beauty in this celebration of faith and community 🕊️.

The processions are the heart ❤️ of the celebration: decorated streets, floral carpets 🌼, dances 💃, music 🎶… to honor the Blessed Sacrament.

But the Corpus Christi is not all about religion ⛪, this celebration is also a popular one 🎉. In Granada, all over the week you can find fairs 🎠, “casetas” (booths) 🎪, concerts 🎤 and satirical processions as “La Tarasca” 🐉

¡A unique mix of devotion and happiness 😊, an exhibition of living Culture! More than a religion festivity, the Corpus Christi is an experience 🌟 which connects the people with their roots 🌱. The spiritually lives together with art 🎨 and tradition 📖
