This historic Country House is located in the center of the UNESCO-declared Biospheric Reserve, upon the beautiful banks of the Grazalema River. Nearby, at only 20 km away you will find the imposing ancient city of Ronda. In Ronda you can walk on the Puente Nuevo, enjoy the impressive scenery around the Cliffs of Ronda, wander through the Old Quarters, visit the legendary bull-ring and bullfighting museum, shop in traditional stores, taste Ronda’s famous sweets, and go “tapa-hopping” in its numerous bars. "Huerta la Terrona" offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere with all the modern conveniences our guests can expect in a contemporary Country House.. This is a 420 square meter, two story country house with five bedrooms, that affords maximum comfort to our guests. All five bedrooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, individual heating units, unique décor, and high quality mattresses and linens. Three of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, with double beds and breathtaking views of Grazalema Natural Park, in particular the mountain pass "Puerto de las Palomas". The other two bedrooms are located on the ground floor. One of the rooms has three single beds, and the other one has two single beds, a double bed and a loft with a futon (140 cm). The beautiful front patio leads to the main entrance where you find one of the three sitting areas the house offers, which has a tradicional and unique fireplace that was once the house kitchen. The cozy library provides a diverse variety of Spanish and English books , where one can retire and relax any season of the year. The 60 square meter living/dining room features an open kitchen equipped for 14 people, air conditioning, chimney, heating system, plasma television with dvd player, WI-FI - Internet, cable channels and sports channel. The kitchen has an electric stove with oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, a paella pan for 14 people and direct access to the barbacue patio and next to the patio is the grill room, a covered room for the big barbecue and a wood oven for a rustic cooking . "Huerta la terrona" has 90.000 square feet of land. The pool area is surrouneded by 300 square meters of Bermuda grass, with loungers, umbrellas and cozy sitting areas with great views of the Park. The orchard offers a variety of fuit trees and a vegeteble garden which our guests will be able to enjoy according to the season. One of the property limits is the Guadalete river where you will be able to explore and enjoy many of the charms offered.

Nice bike trips!

We have a lot of options for circular routes starting and finishing in Ronda. The routes range from an easy grade that are gentle rides but will give you a feel for life in rural Spain and show you how scenic the Serrani de Ronda is, distances range from 15km to 25km. Our intermediate rides are slightly longer with a few hills and you will pass through a neighbouring white village or town, if you have the experience we can make these rides more technical, distances can be 20 to 40km. Challenging rides will involve technical riding, rocky sections, long ascents and descents, and distances will vary from 40km to 80km.
