Masca & Isla Baja. ⛰️🚴‍♂️

Starting among the mountains of Santiago del Teide, the road climbs towards Puerto del Cherfe before descending into the dramatic landscape of Masca—one of Tenerife’s most iconic valleys.

From Puerto de Baracán, a long descent leads towards Buenavista del Norte and the greener landscapes of Isla Baja. Quiet rural roads, banana plantations and Atlantic views accompany the ride before the final climb towards El Tanque and Puerto de Erjos.

Masca & Isla Baja is one of the five guided rides included in our Tenerife Cycling Week, a complete experience designed to reveal a different side of the island every day.

105 km. 2,100 metres of climbing. From the coast to 2,200 metres above sea level.

The route climbs through Granadilla and Vilaflor before reaching the volcanic landscape of Mount Teide.

Then the reward: a long descent through Boca Tauce and down towards the coast.
