When you have to drive the taxi boat on your birthday 🥳🚤

An August birthday is lovely for some - but for us it’s another long, hot, busy day at the office ☀️🌊

So a big thank you to Billy and crew, who were heading out to celebrate themselves today and took a minute to celebrate our boy too - and Victor, being Victor, took it all in his stride 🙏🏽

Our funny, kind, laid back, serious-when-he-needs-to-be, ridiculously talented and much-loved super captain turned 23 today ❤️

23 years of growing up on this beautiful little island and it’s spirit and magic literally runs through him ✨

Today, on the 475th day of July, in the 27th month of the longest, hottest, busiest season ever, as we head into the 122nd weekend of summer - we’re celebrating two of our finest, with this one simple photo..
.captured by our 597th guest this week, on the 214th tandem charter of the year - and Dani and Felix are glowing ☺️

Between them, they’re on track for more charters in a single season than any other captain in Tribe history 👏🏽

Still glowing. Still smiling. Still turning up every day like it’s the start of April. Still giving hundreds of people “the best day of their lives”.

We’ve still got a long way to go this season and this super intense way of working is not for everyone - but it’s for us..
.and it’s a little easier now the temperature has dropped to a more bearable 270 degrees 🥵

Last night - on 27th May - one of our precious captains spotted dolphins between San Antonio and Cala Comte, just as the sun was disappearing into the sea 🐬

He dropped a message into the our Captains group and every Tribe boat that could, headed straight there 🛥️

We spend our life on the water but what followed took our entire team, by surprise. Families of dolphins everywhere. Baby dolphins swimming alongside the boats. Some of our guests were even in the water swimming alongside them 🩵

There were tears, silence, disbelief - all in-front of one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen - and we’ve seen a few 😉

There are Ibiza sunset charters and there are Tribe sunset charters 🌅✨

When we started The Tribe back in 2020, I could never understand why the captains weren’t really promoted here in Ibiza.

Then I met Marc and Victor and they changed everything for me. I was struck by how wise beyond their years they were and their insane ability to balance professionalism, taking care of people on the water and having really good fun doing it.

They made me realise that these incredible young captains deserve to be promoted and celebrated for the exceptional job they do. They never wanted it, they never asked for it, but they absolutely deserved it.

Then I met their friends - Dani, Joel, Felix, Leo - an entire group of super skilled young captains who had grown up here on the island together, all went to school together and all who, at their very heart, were really good friends.

I believe passionately in supporting the next generation to rise. Whether it’s the young captains on our boats, the brilliant young agents and partners we work with here in Ibiza or the incredible young people we work with around the world through - the ones who are just beginning - and who deserve someone in their corner, in this crazy world we live in.

Marc is an inspiration to all future young captains and all the young people we work with at The Tribe and I feel so proud to work alongside him.

Today he turns 26 - so happy birthday .rieraribas this one’s for you 🥳❤️

🌊 The captains decide if your charter can or can’t go out - they were born and raised on these waters, they know them better than anyone
🌊 If they say your charter can’t go out, we will do our very best to find another day and time that works for you
🌊 If we can’t make that happen around your other plans in Ibiza, your deposit will be refunded immediately, and in full

Last week we celebrated 🥳

We celebrated the start of season ’26. We celebrated our captains, our partners and our people - and we celebrated everything we have worked so hard to build together..
.and we work hard, really, really hard. So it’s important we do what we love, with the people we love because that means we can create moments like this, all summer long, for all of you to love 🩵
