El Calvario is one of the Pollença’s most iconic locations thanks to its impressive stairway. It consists of 365 steps, one for each day of the year, and is flanked by cypress trees and fourteen three-metre-high crosses, evoking the ordeal that, according to Christian tradition, Jesus Christ suffered on the way to his crucifixion on Mount Golgotha. 🏰 Santueri Castle sits on top of a rocky outcrop some 475 metres above sea level. It is a stunning, well preserved castle with remarkable views of the south east of Mallorca and the Cabrera Islands on a clear day. “Visca Sant Antoni” 🔥👹.

Sant Antoni is the patron saint of animals. Bonfires, singing and dancing, devil-chasing and parades take place, followed by street parties in different towns of Mallorca. It’s one of the most important and loved festivities in the island.

Dating from the 14th century, the Church of Sant Nicolau is an old parish church full of history. It is located at Carrer de Sant Nicolau in Palma de Mallorca. The original church on this site was built in 1302. Later, between 1309 and 1349, the new church appeared. In the late fifteenth century the Church of Sant Nicolau had to be restored as its nave had been damaged. The main facade and both portals date from the same epoch. In 1681 another restoration works take place, this time completely changing the apse and the decorations. Learn this and much more during our excursions. We are already planing the new season and it so exciting.
