Due to the holiday of Hogueras, Alicante’s most important festival, the office is closed today.
The festival takes place from June 20-24, and marks the start of Summer, with the longest night being on the 21st of June.

HAPPY EASTER! 🐥 FELICES PASCUAS! 🐥. For the Semana Santa holidays we will be closed on Friday 18th and Monday 21st April.

The Festival Department of the L'Alfàs del Pi City Council is providing a schedule of the liturgical and religious events taking place in the municipality's various parishes during Holy Week.

April 17: Holy Thursday at the Parish of San José

The Lord's Supper is scheduled for 7 p.m., followed by the Stations of the Cross in the parish church.

April 18: Good Friday

The celebration of the Passion of the Lord will take place at 6:00 p.m., and the procession of the Holy Burial with the Holy Sepulchre and Our Lady of Sorrows will begin at 7:00 p.m.

April 19: Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord

Finally, on Easter Sunday, there will be an Easter Vigil at midnight. There will be no Mass at 9:30 a.m. that day in the Parish of San José, as the Resurrection of the Lord will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Spirit in l'Albir, and at midday in the Parish Church of San José.
