Well, what a journey it's been! We want to be open and honest about setting up Rezen.Villas, and let's just say "smooth sailing" isn't quite how we'd describe it! The Spanish golden visa process, which we were told would take 20 days, has taken us over 10 months.

And the best part? After 19 years together and having our wonderful children, we had to officially 'prove' our relationship to the authorities. You couldn't make it up!

But... we're so incredibly excited to announce that we have navigated the sea of paperwork and we are FINALLY official! We can now live and work in this beautiful country and, most importantly, we can officially welcome you to stay with us.

Thank you for all your support. Now, we're off to open a well-deserved bottle of wine to celebrate. Cheers to new beginnings! 🍷

Exploring the delicious local flavours near Rezen.Villas today! 🍽️ We popped into the charming coastal town of San Juan de los Terreros and had a wonderful lunch at a spot called Venta de Terreros.

On the menu: succulent steak and chips, a hearty rabbit stew (also accompanied by some rather excellent chips!), and for the boys, classic omelettes... served with more chips! 🍟😂 It seems chips were the theme of the day, and honestly, we're not complaining!

Discovering these local gems is all part of the Rezen.Villas experience – encouraging our guests to explore the authentic tastes of Spain just a stone's throw from their luxury suite. Who's feeling hungry? 😋

🍕🔥 From forgotten oven to foodie heaven! 🔥🍕

We recently fired up the traditional pizza oven left by the previous owners here at Rezen.Villas – a feature that had been patiently waiting for its moment to shine! For our first culinary adventure, we kept it classic: a simple yet utterly delicious tomato, mozzarella, and basil pizza. Bellissimo! 🤌

As it turns out, the oven's original spot has since been transformed into a rather lovely, tranquil seating area for our guests (pictured here – perfect for your morning coffee, don't you think? ☕). So, while we savour the memories of that first perfect pizza, we're now on a fun quest to find a new, equally wonderful home for our pizza oven on the Rezen.Villas grounds. 🤔

Well, the moment of truth is here! Drumroll please... 🥁 It's our beautifully rustic, custom-made Pétanque Ball and Jack Holder! A massive thank you to everyone who joined in the fun guessing game – your creativity was amazing, and congratulations again to our super sleuths who cracked the code! 🏆

Perfect for those leisurely Spanish afternoons and evenings, keeping our boules organised and adding a touch of rustic charm to our garden games. There's nothing quite like a friendly game of pétanque as the day winds down! ☀️🌳
