What's next?
In June we'll be starting an incredible walk around the entire from Minehead, all 630 miles around to Poole. It's apparently the equivalent of climbing Everest 4 times with all the elevation.

Ok! Ma Fox ( Tracie Fox ) has just reminded me. We should be headed into theirs in Los Carriones for about 12-2pm on Wednesday 29th April. We can't be specific because...cycling. If you'd like to welcome 2 very sweaty and stinky folks after their 2000km (maybe? ish?) journey and you know where they are, please feel free to come along! Mel says bring beer. 🤣

Day 58 of cycling Ellesmere Port to Los Carriones.
Today was 40km with 488m of ups.
This morning was tough. Along a road, constant ups. Felt like we took an hour to do each kilometre. But we kept on going. Lots of little stops along the way for a drink and a breather. We finally reached Andalucia and Geopark de Granada, so we're definitely in the right area.
Over the last 3 days, since starting out at Murcia which is 49m above sea level, we've climbed and climbed and ended up here at 1189m. And it's been tough as f**k. But we've done it!
This is our penultimate night before we reach Ma and Pa Fox's and just typing that feels completely mental

A much better, much easier day today. 21km from Bullas to Caravaca de la Cruz and then a much harder 8km to just outside Barranda - some of which was on a main road. But there was a big wide shoulder for the most part and an overtaking lane which all drivers were courteous enough to use when passing. It was quite a lot of tough ups for the last few k but having other road users being nice was definitely helpful!

Next 2 nights accommodation is planned and booked. Almiciles, then Huescar, then the Foxes'!!!!
Just 3 more days. Can't quite believe it!

Today (day 56) was a bad, no good poophole of day. Constant list of things going wrong.
But we saw bunnies, and a bird flying off with another bird in it's talons. And a mountain that looked like a shark fin.
And despite all the setbacks, we did 55km.
Ready to eat and go to bed now.

Just a photo dump from the last few days. It's now Day 55 of cycling Ellesmere Port to Los Carriones and we've arrived in Murcia. Greenway tomorrow up to hopefully Mula if we can find somewhere to stay along the way, if not, it'll be a much longer day to Bullas. Fingers crossed.
