🇪🇸 Nunca olvidaré el día en que un profesor nos dijo que el mar no era azul, sino que el color del océano se debía a la reflexión de la luz del sol en el agua o en el fondo marino.
Incapaces de aceptar aquella gran sorpresa como niños nacidos al lado del mar, al acabar la clase corrimos juntos a la playa para atrapar el agua en nuestras manos esperando desmentir aquella afirmación, tan grave para nosotros como la de los Reyes Magos.

🇬🇧 I'll never forget that day in primary school when a teacher told us something we couldn't believe: "The sea is not blue as the colour of the ocean is the result of the sun ligh reflected through the water or against the soil underneath".
At the end of that lesson, we ran towards the beach in order to take some sea water in our hands and check that the sea was blue; but it wasn't as we found out that day.

🇪🇸 Facturar es la parte que más odio de mi trabajo, porque soy un gato callejero que necesita cambiar de paisaje a cada minuto, razón por la que me encanta trabajar como guía turístico en Asturias. Sin embargo, debo reconocer que mi oficina - Asturias - hace que todo sea más agradable y fácil en este aspecto.
🇬🇧 I must admit that invoicing is the only thing I don't like amongst the different duties of my work as I personally, need to be changing the landscape in front of me permanently; that's why I love my work as a licensed local guide in Asturias.
Nevertheless, I also have to admit that my office in Asturias is definitely another thing.

🇪🇸 Este año comencé a diseñar nuevos productos para el cliente VIP de habla inglesa, que es nuestro target principal. Sin embargo, la intensidad de trabajo que trajo la temporada nos impidió llevarlo a término. A pesar de eso, uno de los propósitos más firmes de cara a la próxima temporada, es delegar ese trabajo de fondo que tanto nos retrasa e impide avanzar. De momento, cuando tenemos un - extraño - día sin grupo como hoy, seguimos buscando localizaciones cómo esta 😍😍😍
🇪🇸 At the beginning of 2026, we started designing new trips for our main client: English speaking VIP reduced groups. However, the intense work we've had this year didn't let us end that work.
One of our main goals for next season is to finish that project by learning to delegate it in good hands in order to save a very valuable time. At the moment, as far as we can have a day off like today, we keep on searching for new locations as this one in the photo.
