Please note that there are significant delays in passport processing at this time❗

The latest statement from the U.S. Department of State mentions that expedited processing will take up to 12 weeks and regular processing up to 18 weeks 🛂

If you need to renew or apply for a new passport for winter 2021 and spring 2022 study abroad, you should do so as soon as possible.

Your passport should be valid for 6 months after the end of your program, which means that if you currently have a passport, and the expiration date is BEFORE December 2022 or so, you should definitely renew now.
