Spain has a long and rich history of art and artistic expression which is clearly evident through its abundance of famous artists, artworks, and architectural achievements. Today, this tradition is displayed throughout various museums, galleries, and exhibitions; and is also upheld through sites such as La Nave Va. Located in Berrocalejo (Cáceres), La Nave Va is an outdoor sculpture park that displays the works of various Spanish sculptors with a common theme of integrating art and the environment in order to emphasize the beauty in nature. Some sights from one of the absolute-must-visit cities in Spain -- Segovia! Located in Castilla y León, the city is highlighted by its mixture of Romanesque and Gothic-style structures. Among these include the Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the best-preserved Roman aqueducts remaining that was used to transport water from the nearby mountains into the city; its beautiful Gothic-style cathedral located in the city center; and the breath-taking Alcázar of Segovia that is situated on a cliff-side and served as a source of inspiration for Walt Disney's Cinderella Castle!

Las Médulas is a historic gold-mining site near the town of Ponferrada in the province of León and was the largest and most important gold mine in the Roman Empire in the 1st century AD. Today, the mine is open to tours and is a sight to be seen!

Co**ha Velasco, one of the most famous actresses in Spain. Maybe you have not heard a lot about her if you are not from Spain but for sure once in your life have listened a song "Chica Ye-Ye "
At the moment you can indulge yourself with her final stage play which takes place in Madrid. The name of the play is "el funeral" directed by his son Manuel M. Velasco.
