And Monaco 😋🇲🇨 with stops in Aix-en-Provence, Nice and Monte Carlo!

This was our first time in the South of France and we really enjoyed all the good coffee, pastries, and carousels rides! 🇫🇷🥐☕️😍

Where should we go next time?!

Let’s go on a road trip to Costa Brava! 😍🇪🇸

While super quiet and a little bit chilly in the winter, this is still a beautiful area of Spain to explore!

We checked out:

📍 Tossa de Mar
📍 Empuriabrava
📍 Cadaques

We will definitely be returning when it’s warmer and we can spend some time at the beach!

If you’re in or around Barcelona and traveling with kids, a trip to CosmoCaixa Museum of Science is a must!

Just an hour from Girona, this was a really fun day trip for our whole family! We all had a blast! 🧬🔭🧪

On the hunt for Madrid’s best playground 🛝

22/01/2026

The first stop on our Europe adventure was Madrid! This is the girls’ first time in Spain and all of our first time to Madrid. 🇪🇸

The weather was a little bit chilly, but overall we got great impressions and had a really nice time exploring the city!

Here’s what we did:

🏠 Stayed at a hotel in Salamanca
🛝 Visited lots of playgrounds and parks for the kids!
🌳 Lots of walking in Parque El Retiro! We loved staying close to the park
📍 Walked Paseo del Prado and saw the Prado Museum from the outside
📍Walked from Puerta de Alcalá to Fuente de Cibeles to Plaza Mayor and onwards to the cathedral and Palacio Real de Madrid
☕️ Stopped for coffee and baked goods to keep us fueled for our adventures!

We only had 3.5 days in Madrid so we definitely need to come back and explore more!

Have you been to Madrid? What would you recommend doing?

If you’re visiting Mexico City and you have little kids, this is your sign to visit Papalote Museo del Niño! 🦋

There’s something for everyone and it was definitely our favorite thing that we did with the kids on our most recent visit. 😍🇲🇽

Before heading to Europe, we spent a few days in one of our favorite cities - Mexico City! 🇲🇽

Admittedly, we haven’t spent a lot of time in CDMX since having kids, but we had a great time on this visit!

Here are a few of our favorite things that we did:

📍Playground in Parque España in Condesa

📍Playground in Parque Lincoln in Polanco

📍 Papalote Museo del Niños

📍 Exploring Chapultepec Park

And of course, one of the great things about Mexico is how kid friendly restaurants & cafes are, so make sure to enjoy some of the ones in your neighborhood! 🌮😋

What did we miss?!
