Carrie and Jamie love Menorca and have visited many times over the years. They have three boys aged 12,8 and 3 and hope to create a lovely family villa that people will want to visit again and again. Hopefully lots of helpful extras make your stay even more relaxi

Why this location? This villa was bought at the end of 2014 in the beautiful village of s'algar due to its close proximity to the airport. S'algar is a lovely village by the sea with places to eat and drink and lovely shops to visit whilst still having an excellent bus service into Mahon from which you can get to any part of the island. What are the unique benefits of the property? This is a family owned villa so we hope to have as many things as possible to make stays for families particularly more comfortable. There is a pram available for use, toys and games, high chairs, a cot, DVD player, internet connection, satellite TV and a coffee maker in the kitchen. The villa is a short walk from the front where the Hotel Alua Soul has a fabulous pool overlooking the sea and it is also within easy walking distance of all shops, restaurants and bars.

An evening run along the cami de cavalls last night. It goes around the whole island so if you are a walker up for a challenge or a runner it’s a fab way to sightsee ! You can dip in and out of it too to get to places 👌🏻

Morning! Weather looking lovely for the next two weeks and we are building quite a list of things to do. Summer is amazing but often the kids find it far too hot for lots of walking about so this end of the year time is@often better or Easter time too! From Scotland we flew to standstead then straight over and was smooth and not expensive with BTW get the direct Newcastle flight back up and running it was amazing for the Scot’s!

Aquapark aqua rock nice wee water park but note you have to pay €3.50 for a sun longer which is annoying having paid already to get in. Splash punta prima still our fave I think!

Popped into Mahon last night for the night market which is on a Tuesday night and a Thursday I think too. Spotted a bit of tango going on. Such a lovely buzz in the evenings 🥰
