🇬🇮🇪🇸 Big changes are coming to travel between Gibraltar and Spain this summer 🇬🇮🇪🇸

From 15 July 2026, the border system is set to evolve, with routine land checks expected to disappear and controls moving to Gibraltar’s airport and port instead. This should make crossings between Gibraltar and Spain much smoother for daily travellers and visitors alike.

For UK travellers, Schengen-style entry rules will apply, including biometrics and the 90-day limit.

If you’re heading to Marbella or exploring the Costa del Sol, this is one to keep in mind, travel between destinations could soon feel a lot easier!
