1:00 PM Opening of the casetas at the La Caridad Fairgrounds. Immediately following, a visit to the ‘Mi Hogar’ booth run by the San Pedro Alcántara Active Participation Centres and located at the fairgrounds—featuring dancing and performances.

6:00 PM. Performance by the New Gym Aerosport Modern Dance Academy, led by Javier Pajares, at the Municipal Pavilion

The fee will be €2.50 for most rides, while single-run attractions or those with a fixed capacity of 16 seats will cost €3.50.

7:00 PM – 9:30 PM: Noise-Free Fair
A space designed for inclusion and enjoyment by everyone, especially those with extreme sensitivity to loud noises and sounds. During this time, the fairground ride area will be free from intense auditory and sensory stimuli, offering a calmer, more accessible, and comfortable environment.

10:00 PM: Performance by Garage Band Pop & Rock at the Municipal Arena (Palenque Municipal). The band will get San Pedro Alcántara on its feet with a lively repertoire of covers featuring the best pop and rock hits from the 80s and 90s.

The fair continues! Remember, you can keep enjoying the fairground activities until 5:00 AM.

5:00 PM. Performances by various dance academies in the Church Square.

6:00 PM. Parade of Giants and Big-Heads, accompanied by a spectacular performance titled “Olor a Feria”
(Scent of the Fair), which will fill the route with the sparkle and colour so typical of Andalusia, all set to music by the Ramón Mayén Band.
Route: Departure from Church Square, via Revilla, C/ Lagasca, and C/ Jerez, Avda Marqués del Duero, C/ Córdoba and C/ Pepe Osorio, the Boulevard,Avda Marqués del Duero, and back to Church Square.

7:00 PM. Floral offering at the foot of the statue of our Patron Saint, San Pedro de Alcántara, in the Church Square.

9:00 PM Grand Opening Ceremony: Official Lighting Ceremony and Opening of the Fairgrounds (at the “María del Carmen Álvarez Mora” roundabout
at Finca La Caridad).

The event will culminate with the spectacular “Mediterranean Character” fireworks display visible from the Fairgrounds which will light up the San
Pedro Alcántara sky and officially open the feria.

**There is no information on where the fireworks will take place. Previous years it has been down by the beach but there is no mention of this, it just says visible from the fairground**

Your town centre supermarket is closed for renovations and a little rebrand. Nearest supermarkets now will be Lidl and Dia at La Colonia or the Carrefour Expresses in town but the Carrefours are more expensive as they are ‘convenience’ stores.

🚴‍♂️ ¡LA VUELTA REGRESA A SAN PEDRO ALCÁNTARA OCHO AÑOS DESPUÉS! 🇪🇸

​El próximo 11 de septiembre, San Pedro volverá a convertirse en el centro del ciclismo internacional con el paso de la 19ª etapa de La Vuelta Ciclista a España (Vélez-Málaga - Peñas Blancas, Estepona).

​📍 Detalles del recorrido y horarios:
• 🕒 15:30 h – Llegada de la caravana publicitaria.
• 🚴‍♂️ 16:15 h a 16:20 h – Paso previsto del pelotón principal.
• 🗺️ Trazado: Entrada desde Ronda por la A-397, paso por la travesía urbana, Avda. Oriental, Avda. Luis Braille, rotonda del Bulevar, Avda. Norberto Goizueta y salida por Guadalmina hacia la autovía.

​Además, la jornada incluirá una salida conjunta con clubes ciclistas de la zona para fomentar el deporte base entre los jóvenes.
