'BIZNAGA' - a word seen around the Pueblo but which doesn't appear in any English/ Spanish translations!
That's because Biznaga (taken from an Arabic word meaning 'A gift from God) is a handmade 'bouquet' of Jasmine combined with a kind of thistle. The thistle is harvested early in the year, and dried, ready for adding the Jasmine flowers during summer, which then combine with the warm evening breeze to provide a sweet and delicate fragrance.
The Biznaga tradition is only native to the Malaga area which is why the word doesn't appear in any translations.
If you're visiting Malaga City, there is a statue of a traditional 'Biznaguero' (a Biznaga seller) in the Pedro Luis Alonso Gardens as a tribute to the jasmine sellers.

Locally known as the Church of Santa Ana (or Santana).
This chapel was built in the late 17th/ early 18th century in the Barrio (neighborhood) of “Plaza de los Siete Caños” (square of the seven taps). Little has changed throughout the years in this part of the village.
