Happy Fiestas del Carmen! 🌸🌊 Today, we celebrate one of the most beautiful traditions on the Costa del Sol — if you’re here, don’t miss it!

📅 Every July 16th, coastal towns in Spain honour the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of fishermen and sailors, with stunning processions to the sea.

⛪ A statue of the Virgin is carried from the local church to the beach.
🥁 Horns, drums, and flower petals fill the air as crowds follow.
🌊 In some places, like Los Boliches in Fuengirola, she’s carried into the water.

It’s moving, powerful, and uniquely Spanish!
📍Where to go: Any coastal town between Nerja and Estepona tonight – just follow the music.
