The perfect picture everyone wants when visiting San Sebastián is at this exact spot. It’s in Igeldo a private themed amusement park on one side of the bay.
I recommend starting your visit to the city here. The view is amazing and you can clearly see the layout of the town and it’s iconic must sees. You can take the bus number 16 from the Boulevard 1,85 euro each way. And then take a funicular from the 1900 up the mountain!
If you decide to walk just follow the Co**ha beach railing ( symbol of the city) till the end - cut through the tennis club through the stairs and take the funicular. since you are in this part of the city ( called el Antiguo) be sure to stop at the Miramar palace for good pics and then go to See the art work of Chillida - do not miss this- thank me later. If on the way back to old town you want to explore this neighborhood you can go to Calle Matia where there are loads of local designer shops with cool bars and cafes. Enjoy!
