This is an epic week of high trail hiking.
MONDAY Day One we tackle Lucero 1778m. This 16km hike from La Resiñera is 8 hours hiking with 1050m ascent.
TUESDAY Day Two we wrestle Almendron 1400m. A high mountain trail with steep drops and some scrambles. Starting from El Pinarillo at 500m up to 1400m above sea level this 14km,7 hour trek is a fine test.
WEDNESDAY Day Three we rest.
THURSDAY Day Four we attack La Maroma 2050m. From the the north it's a pleasingly tough climb of 1200m up to the summit of County Malaga's highest mountain.
FRIDAY Day Five we conquer El Cielo 1500m. From our starting point in Rio de la Miel at 600m we climb 1000m before dropping slightly to the Cross of Heaven, El Cielo. A might trek of 7 hours all on trails and track.
Cost is €320 per person for hikes and transports.
Optional 6 nights B&B accommodation is €360 per person.
