CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW WE SELL MOTORCYCLE HOLIDAYS? 🏍️

I saw something the other day that got me thinking.

It was all about the words you should apparently never use in sales.

“Affordable.”
“Explore.”
“Most popular.”
“Investment.”
And even putting a price on its own.

And you know what?

It actually made me think about our all inclusive motorbike holidays.

Because if someone asks me:

“How much is it?”

I could just give them a number.

But does that really tell you anything?

Not really.

Because imagine this…

You wake up in Spain. ☀️

The bike is sitting outside.

You’ve got a coffee in your hand, the sun is coming up and you know you’ve got a full day of some of the best roads you’ve ever ridden ahead of you.

You head out.

The traffic disappears.

The scenery changes.

A few hours later you’re sat somewhere in the mountains having lunch, talking absolute rubbish with people you met a couple of days ago… 😂

Then someone says:

“That road was bloody brilliant!”

And everyone agrees.

That’s the bit you can’t put a price on.

And perhaps that’s the problem with words like “affordable” or “investment.”

They make us think about money.

But when most of us plan a motorcycle holiday, we’re not really thinking about the money.

We’re thinking about the experience.

We’re thinking about getting away.

Getting on the bike.

Seeing somewhere different.

Having a laugh.

And coming home with a head full of memories.

So here’s the question…

If you were recommending your perfect motorcycle holiday to a mate, what would you talk about first?

The price?

Or the experience?
