🇪🇸 Hoy celebramos los 185 años del Rafael Verdera,
185 años de historia, de mar y de vida a bordo.
El Rafael Verdera ha navegado con distintos aparejos, ha tenido diversos nombres y ha vivido épocas, rutas y viajes diferentes.
Entre todo, hay uno que ha permanecido en nuestra memoria como algo muy especial: los viajes de avistamiento de cetáceos.
Fueron travesías únicas, de esas que no se olvidan nunca.
Mi madre embarcó en uno de esos viajes y fue así como mis padres se enamoraron.
El mar en silencio, el horizonte infinito.
La complicidad de un grupo de personas a priori desconocidas pero unidas por un mismo vaivén.
La emoción de la espera y el privilegio de compartir rumbo con alguno de los habitantes más impresionantes del Mediterráneo.
El Rafael Verdera no solo es especial por su historia, sino también porque nos une como familia y nos recuerda lo importante que es cuidar nuestro patrimonio. ¡Feliz aniversario,

🇬🇧 Today we celebrate the 185th anniversary of the Rafael Verdera,
185 years of history, of the sea and of life on board.
The Rafael Verdera has sailed under different rigs, has had various names and has experienced different eras, routes and voyages.
Among all of them, there is one that has remained in our memory as something very special: the whale-watching trips.
They were unique voyages, the sort you never forget.
My mother embarked on one of those trips and that was how my parents fell in love.
The silent sea, the endless horizon.
The camaraderie of a group of people who were strangers at first but united by the same rocking motion.
The thrill of the wait and the privilege of sharing the journey with some of the Mediterranean’s most impressive creatures.
The Rafael Verdera is special not only for its history, but also because it brings us together as a family and reminds us how important it is to look after our heritage. Happy anniversary,
