Most people picture beaches and large hotels when they think of the Balearics. But some of the best stays here are old farmhouses and estates that have been beautifully restored and feel like they’re just for you. Here are five worth knowing about. 🌿

✨ Vestige Son Vell, Menorca — A restored 18th-century estate on 180 hectares of working farmland, with an almost-private cove and farm-to-table dining rooted in the island’s land and sea. Quiet luxury at its most authentic.

Why would I still need a travel agent in times of AI? 🤔

Fair question. Here’s what it actually looks like in practice.

During Easter, a client messaged me the night before their sailing excursion that their activity was cancelled. High winds. No reschedules available. On paper, the day was lost.

Then I got on the phone and a few calls to local partners later, their morning looked completely different. They had the most amazing boat trip ever! 🫶

Then there was the first-time visitor to Europe who called me mid-trip, completely overwhelmed because they’d missed their train and had no idea what to do next. No app was going to calm that panic. I walked them through it, sorted the next connection, and turned what felt like a disaster to them into just a small bump in an otherwise incredible trip.

This is the job now.

Not just building the itinerary, but being the person on the other end of the message when things shift.

AI will find you the best price but it won’t pick up the phone and fix your trip when it matters most. Now that’s the difference ✨🙌

It’s been an exciting period on the booking side ✨ Client work has been taking priority lately, which is very much in line with the rhythm of this season.
In the coming days, clients will be departing for Japan and South Africa, while this spring the Mediterranean is proving as popular as ever — with multiple itineraries across Greece, several trips to Sicily, and beautiful journeys through southern Spain.
This season is truly one of the best times to experience the Mediterranean: pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and that relaxed atmosphere before the peak of summer.
Grateful to be planning so many special journeys and to see these destinations inspiring travelers again ❤️🙏

Just booked! ✨🗝️

Lucky clients will be staying at as their island getaway during their Greece trip this summer — a spectacular boutique hotel on the island of Naxos that feels like a true luxury escape from everyday life.

They were looking for a less crowded island in July, so Naxos came up as a natural choice. It’s a more thoughtful version of Greece and still feels very authentic.

Finding the right match between a destination, the perfect hotel, and each client’s travel style is really what my work is about — and the part I love the most.

NEW HOTEL OPENING - I’m very excited about this one 🫶

Mandarin Oriental is opening in Mallorca this July — and it’s going to be something truly special🥂

The setting alone is breathtaking: set above the Mediterranean, surrounded by pine trees, with those endless sea views that make you instantly slow down. It feels private and peaceful, yet you’re still within easy reach of Palma and everything the island has to offer⛱️☀️⛰️

The hotel will feature 131 rooms, suites and private casitas — all designed with Mediterranean elegance. Think calming tones, beautiful natural textures, large terraces and seamless indoor–outdoor living. Many will have beautiful sea views, and the casitas in particular feel like your own secluded retreat while still enjoying all the hotel’s service and amenities.

Dining is going to be a destination in itself. There will be six restaurants in total, and I’m particularly excited about Matsuhisa — the Japanese Nobu restaurant — as well as Leña by Dani García, which I’m especially looking forward to after my recent visit to Leña in Marbella. 2025 has been my best year so far, with steady growth that would not have been possible without your trust and continued support. Designing meaningful journeys for you remains a privilege, and I am deeply grateful to each of you for allowing me to be part of your travels 🫶

Early 2026 planning is already reflecting a few clear trends: a continued focus on meaningful, experience-driven travel (designed to be shared - rather than rushed) and a growing interest in small-scale group journeys. I love the idea that a packed itinerary isn’t always better—a great itinerary has margin.   I would be happy to start shaping your 2026 travel plans, whether it’s an early idea or a confirmed journey.
