Two rules I use to plan every holiday. Most people skip them and wonder why their trip didn’t quite work.
✈️ Rule 1: Forget “goals.” Define your non-negotiables.
Vague goals (“a beach”, “somewhere relaxing”) lead to the wrong booking 80% of the time. Non-negotiables are sharper.
Real ones from real clients: → “A pool I can actually swim in, not freezing.” → “Direct flight or no deal.” → “Kids’ club so we can eat ONE meal alone.” → “Lift in the building. Non-negotiable.”
Three non-negotiables is all you need. Everything else flexes.
🗺 Rule 2: Build a flexible framework, not a fixed itinerary.
The best holidays = anchor points + breathing room. Two things booked. Everything else decided on the day. Hour-by-hour plans are why people come home more tired than when they left.

Rhodes Old Town is something else. My clients stayed at the Mitsis Petit Palace and had medieval streets, the harbour, and beautiful beaches all within easy reach. Seeing families come back with photos like these is the best part of this job. Who wants to know more?

Lake Garda with a 5 year old and a baby. May half term. Let me tell you why this one was an easy yes. 🇮🇹
We’re flying from Manchester. No ridiculous early start, no connecting flights, straight into the sunshine.
