Spring has definately arrived in the Emporda and our garden is no exception.

It's all change at The Terrace Pau. From April 2017 it will be operating as a holiday house rental. With low season rates of 85 euros per night and high season of 100 euros per night this represents good value in this prime location. Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is our local Cooperative in the village that produces both excellent wines and olive oil. A number of our guests have been on the visits now during September they are putting on a real show!

The vine at The Terrace Pau has given our first big harvest. Not enough to make a barrel of wine but maybe a glass or two. Let's hope the sun continues to shine and ripen them all.

Last weekend we had guests from Barcelona who wanted to escape from the city. They woke up to the sound of birds, then enjoyed a leisurely Sunday breakfast. Que bonito!

We are supporting local producers such as 'Empordalia' and 'Per a Quedar Bé', both based in Pau.

The annual Girona Flower Festival made another really enjoyable day out. Although apparently less exhibits this year there were still over 120 to see strategically based around the town.

Sunday marked the first food and drink festival of the year. The Annual Calcots Festival in the town of Vilasacre. This delicious Catalan delicacy is well worth trying but as you can see from those enjoying it, it's best to cover up your clothes first.
