🇪🇸 Hay una estrella en el cielo que parece no moverse nunca ⭐

Mientras el resto del firmamento gira a nuestro alrededor, Polaris permanece casi inmóvil noche tras noche.

Pero, como casi siempre cuando miramos al cielo, hay una explicación 🌌

Nos vemos bajo las estrellas 🌟✨️

🇬🇧 There’s a star in the sky that seems to never move ⭐

While the rest of the night sky appears to rotate around us, Polaris remains almost perfectly still, night after night.

But, as is often the case when we look up at the sky, there’s an explanation 🌌

🇪🇸 Hay lugares que no necesitan presentación. Solo necesitan que llegue la noche 🌌

Esta es una de las vistas que tenemos desde nuestra sede, en pleno Parque Nacional del Teide.

A un lado, el Teide. Sobre nosotros, la Vía Láctea. Y en medio, el lugar desde el que cada noche compartimos el cielo con quienes vienen a visitarnos.

Una imagen que llevaba tiempo queriendo hacer y que resume bastante bien lo que hace especial este lugar.

This is one of the views from our base, in the heart of Teide National Park.

Teide on one side. The Milky Way above us. And in between, the place from which we share the night sky with everyone who comes to visit us.

A photograph I’d wanted to take for quite some time, and one that captures pretty well what makes this place so special.

🇪🇸 Hay momentos que se explican solos 🌒

Las miradas, las reacciones, las sonrisas… Así vivimos junto a quienes nos acompañaron el eclipse del pasado 12 de agosto en Astroland.

Porque observar un fenómeno como este es especial, pero compartirlo lo hace todavía más.
Gracias a todos por dejarnos formar parte de sus recuerdos y por permitirnos compartir algunos de estos momentos.

The looks, the reactions, the smiles… This is how we experienced the August 12th eclipse together with everyone who joined us at Astroland.

Watching a phenomenon like this is special, but sharing it makes it even more so.
