This week was one of those weeks that reminded me exactly why I took the leap and built something from scratch.
We had a very special group join us on our Ultimate Premium Tour out of Ronda, and by the end of the week, it was like we had known each other for a lifetime.
Among our riders was Chuck Braverman , Emmy Award-winning, Oscar-nominated Hollywood filmmaker, who arrived as a customer and left making a documentary about The Gourmet Biker Tours. Chuck is one of the warmest, most fascinating people you could ever spend a week with, and his stories of a lifetime in Hollywood had us all spellbound around the dinner table.
Alongside Chuck was Drew Hankin MD of Azuri Group Australia, who brought his dad Mark all the way from Australia to celebrate his 70th birthday by riding classic motorcycles through the mountains of Andalusia. Drew's energy, humour and frankly incredible ability to mimic accents - including Chuck's, in front of Chuck - kept the whole group in tears of laughter from start to finish.
And filming it all was Jaime from True North, capturing the week for Channel 4's A New Life in the Sun.
A Hollywood filmmaker. A 70th birthday. Michelin Dining. And some of the greatest roads in Europe.
