We've been in the Arribes area this week with Maria and Manolo, who were our first post-pandemic clients back in 2020. Stunning lanscapes and great birds including Black stork, Golden oriole, Egyptian and Griffon vulture, Alpine swift, Western Orphean and Sub-alpine warblers, and Nightingales singing from just about every bush! Thank you Maria and Manolo for choosing us!

A pleasant surprise this afternoon brought this little bird back to the village after a few months' absence: Zitting cisticola or Fan-tailed warbler. May be the same one that was singing last spring but disappeared when it got too dry, so glad to welcome him/her back. 😊 Sierras de Bejar and Francia Biosphere Reserve, Salamanca
