5 YEARS LATER… AND I’M STILL ORDERING THE SAME BREAKFAST! 😂🍳☕️

I posted this exact breakfast 5 years ago… and five years later, I’m STILL going back for it.

Why?

Because it’s bloody amazing! 🤤

Olive Garden, Los Cristianos 💚

A family-run business that’s been going for over 24 years and, in my opinion, is still one of the best on the island.

The home-baked muffins 🤩

Honestly… just LOOK at them! 👀

Five years on, still going back, still ordering it and still absolutely loving it.

Had a meeting at the Ayuntamiento this morning and afterwards we were absolutely starving, so we popped into a café just opposite…

What a fantastic find! 😍

Palmera is in the same block as the petrol station in Los Cristianos, just around the back, and it’s definitely somewhere we’ll be returning to.

We started with the fresh juice of the day – strawberries, banana and passion fruit – with an extra shot of ginger. The waiter told me to stir it before drinking… I forgot! 🤣 The last mouthful was an intense hit of ginger, which I absolutely loved!

For lunch, I chose their chicken salad and WOW! Tender strips of chicken on a bed of crisp iceberg lettuce with honey-glazed walnuts, fresh apple and warm goat’s cheese served on rustic bread. It was fresh, different and absolutely delicious.

Adam went for a chicken baguette, which he thoroughly enjoyed too.

We also spotted their brunch for two being served to another table and it looked incredible! Sweet and savoury options, two freshly squeezed orange juices and two hot drinks for just €29.90. I already know I’ll be back to try that with one of my girls. 🥂

Our total bill came to €29.30, and honestly, it was worth every single cent.

If you’re looking for fresh, healthy food in Los Cristianos, I’d definitely recommend giving Palmera a try! 💚🥗🍊

Last week I saw a fin… this week I saw a hammerhead! 🦈

I am absolutely IN MY ELEMENT! 🌊💙 Wow, wow, wow!

How lucky are we to live on such a magnificent island, where adventure awaits both above and below the ocean’s surface.

A 3 hour tour up to Mt Teide and driving in a Mustang back down at sunset was INSANE! 🌅🏔️🏎️

Amazing views, up to 4 people, and such a comfortable (and seriously fun!) way to experience one of Tenerife’s most spectacular sunsets.

Driving through the incredible landscapes of Teide National Park as the sun goes down is something you’ll never forget.

When you finally get to try the Sea Trek experience we’ve been selling at work! 🤿🌊

20 minutes walking on the ocean floor wearing a huge helmet, breathing completely normally, and getting to see what’s beneath the surface… absolutely incredible!

Honestly, it was hilarious and amazing all at the same time! 😂

And yes… please excuse the spectacular tan lines. That’s what happens when you work outdoors all year! ☀️😂

It has to be Playa de Las Teresitas, just a short drive from Santa Cruz.

Golden sand, incredible views, calm turquoise water and those mountains in the background… it’s honestly stunning. ❤️

6 years ago, this little group connected me with a guy called Dan.

He asked if I could help organise a surprise sunset engagement with a photographer for his then-girlfriend Abbie. 💍🌅

Fast forward 6 years… and a beautiful little girl later… they were finally due to say “I do”. But just weeks before their wedding, the company they had trusted went “bankrupt” — and they lost everything they had planned for their dream day.

In just 3 short (and very stressful!) weeks, with determination, love, and the help of the most amazing dream team — Tracy, Gail and Amber — plus their amazing family, they made it happen. ❤️

Last Sunday, Dan and Abbie walked down the aisle, said “I do”, and had THEIR PERFECT DAY.

They overcame every obstacle thrown at them, and thanks to the incredible Tenerife community, a disaster turned into something truly unforgettable.

What a whirlwind.
What a day.
What a couple.
