I saw 2 shooting starts from the persied meteor shower last night ight. The first one was a pretty pink that travelled slowly down towards the coast just as I was taking the dog for a walk. Thinking this would be a great night I then sat for 45 mins only to see one quick white steak. Still happy. Hopefully more tonight 💫

This week is a good time to see the Perseid meteor shower.
This occurs every year at the end of July/beginning of August. Over the next few days the moon is hardly visible so the sky is dark. This allows more opportunity to see the shooting starts from the Perseid meteor shower.
The terrace of Casa Amanda is an ideal place to view this astronomical phenomenon. Turn off the lights, rest on the sun loungers, grab a drink or two and allow your eyes to become dark adjusted then wait for the cosmos to delight you 💫
