Aftc Veteran travellers Simon Wilkins and Sharon Donaghy from Huddersfield, UK, have just completed their EIGHTH cycling holiday with us! 🥰🚴 And they were amongst the first travellers to try out our new Córdoba cycling route!

"We did also enjoy the Via Verde with its grass, flowers, birds and butterflies and agree that most of it was well maintained with a good surface. I also liked the section that wended its way through and round a few reservoirs north of Luque and also the old stations along the way. For me the absolute highlight were the roads north from Priego de Codoba on the way to Zuheros - perfection! All the hotels were great. Thank you all for a great and and well-planned trip - we loved it!"

So, what's special about the Camino de Santiago?

"Mary and I, two ladies in our mid-seventies, had an amazing trip on the Camino, and it more than lived up to our expectations. We were extremely impressed with all the accommodation and food, and all the information provided for the route- it was impossible to get lost! As there were only 2 of us, we were able to use the little trajectories on the map which were quieter than the main route and it gave us a broader view of the lovely Galician countryside. All in all, thanks to Away from the crowds and your helpful staff during the booking process, we had a wonderful time".

What's special about our La Rioja tour round vineyards and medieval towns?
In the words of John and Liz Knowles from Shropshire, UK...

"We enjoyed cycling through a part of Spain that was entirely new to us and the mix of countryside and interesting towns and villages was perfect. The birdsong this time of year is very special and we were delighted to be accompanied by the song of Blackcap, Serin, and especially Golden Oriole and Nightingale. The nightingales were everywhere!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first cycling holiday. It was a challenge at times but the combination of a lovely route, good bikes and a comfortable destination made it a delight. You'll be seeing us again!"
