🇪🇸La Torre de Oro, fue construida apenas 24 años antes de la reconquista de Sevilla. Terminada en 1220, sirvió como la principal torre de defensa que protegía al Guadalquivir de los barcos invasores. Un símbolo de fuerza y resistencia hizo imposible que las fuerzas invasoras ingresaran al puerto de Sevilla. Hoy en día alberga un museo naval con hermosas vistas desde la parte superior de la torre.

🇬🇧La Torre de Oro, or Golden Tower was built just 24 years before the reconquest of Sevilla. Completed in 1220 it served as the main tower of defence protecting the Guadalquivir from invading ships. A symbol of strength & resilience it made it impossible for invading forces to enter the port of Sevilla. Today it hosts a naval museum with beautiful views from the top floor.

Cuando paso por el puente Triana, pa mirarte solamente Triana, me muero de alegría! - 🇪🇸Puente Isabel II, mejor conocido como el "puente de Triana", fue llamado originalmente el puente de Barcas, era literalmente un puente hecho de barcos.

Sabías que la construcción de la giralda comenzó en el siglo XII en el período almohade y fue finalizada en el período cristiano en el año 1568.
Debe su nombre actual al Giraldillo (figura de bronce que se posa sobre ella). Supera en altura al Big ben de Londres y mide casi el doble que La torre de pisa.

Before it was known as the Girlada, it was the tallest Minaret in the world at the time of its Almohad phase. After Christian conquest, it owes its name the bronce statue that adorns the top, called El Giraldillo.

Bigger than Big Ben, and nearly double that of the tower of Pisa, it was Europe’s first skyscraper.
