🇮🇨 30/05 is a BANK HOLIDAY in the Canary Islands 🇮🇨

It’s Día de Canarias, a day all about celebrating the culture, history, and spirit of the Canary Islands 🎉 It marks the anniversary of the first session of the Canary Islands Parliament in 1983 and is a proud celebration of Canarian identity, traditions, and community.

Just a heads-up, you can expect:
• Banks to be closed
• Some shops and services to have shorter opening hours
• Fewer taxis around than usual
• Public holiday taxi fare increases

You’ll also spot plenty of traditional Canarian outfits, music, dancing, and celebrations happening all over the island ❤️💛💙
