Just finished a great semi private camp in Tarifa where we had a perfect week. Four participants, good vibes, tasty food and plenty wind for everyone to improve and learn some new tricks. Thanks Ale, Cédric, Steeve and Chicco for your motivation and hopefully see you soon for more!

Perfection, is the first word that comes to my mind when thinking about this kite camp I just did in Sri Lanka ! From the perfect conditions with steady wind every single day, sun, warm weather; the cool vibe at the resort where we stayed at ( Srilankakite ) with a stunning view over the lagoon, great food, and accommodation, and finally all the motivated participants I had during the whole camp. Everything was just to good to be true.
I had six participants from similar levels this time and each of them improved loads in just a week time. This is thanks to the butter flat water conditions and steady winds that really help when going for a trick. They learned from improving their upwind technique, to unhook and throwing raleys, or even some strapless transitions. I was coaching from the beach, riding with them and also shooting pictures and videos to analyse their riding at night.
Everyday the wind would pick up around noon as if someone turned it on. This gave us the morning to relax, read or do some work, and sleep for the ones that enjoyed the bar sessions at night. The great thing at Srilankakite is that it’s located right on the lagoon allowing us to keep an eye on the conditions and be the first in and last out until sunset. We literally spent 10 days with our feet in the sand and everyone was there just to ride and chill.
During the camp, we also did a boat excursion to an even flatter and empty spot followed by a downwinder, we had daily stretching sessions and even some workout for the most motivated.
After this trip I can easily say that Sri Lanka is definitely number 1 together with Brasil in my list of best kite spots ! I’d like to thank the owners and the staff of Srilankakite for the warm welcome and help, my partner Fun and Fly - Sport Away to help organize this camp, and also to all participants and people that spent this cool trip with us.

Hey kite world,

Je navigue vers de nouveaux horizons à partir de cette année, je retourne vivre à Tarifa en Espagne, où je deviendrai agent commercial pour le distributeur de F-One. Par la même occasion, je suis heureux d’intégrer le team F-one Internationalet Manera pour de nouvelles aventures ! ;)
Parallèlement, je continuerai à organiser des kitecamps (www.mallorykitecamps.com) afin d'aider les gens à progresser sur les plus beaux spots du monde, et à juger sur le world tour.
Je tiens à remercier toute la Takoon Kiteboarding Family pour ces trois années de trips, rencontres et expériences. Pierre Engel, Jacques Freydrich, Stan Takoon, Mps Moups, Loic Takoon, Herve Boure et Hugo Guias, c’était un plaisir de rider avec vous et de partager cette passion du kite. Je vous souhaite tout le meilleur pour la suite !

This year I’ll start a new adventure. I’m going to live in Tarifa, Spain, where I’ll become a sales agent for the F-One distributor. I’m also happy to enter the F-One and Manera International teams with which I hope to live many new experiences and trips ! ;)
Besides, I'll continue to organise kite camps (www.mallorykitecamps.com) in order to help people boost their level on the best kite spots, and to judge on the world tour.
I’d also like to thank the Takoon Family for these three years of trips and experiences. Pierre, Jacques, Stan, Arnaud, Loic, Hervé and Hugo, it was a pleasure to ride with you and to share this passion of kiteboarding. Good luck for the future guys !

Navego hacia nuevos horizontes a partir de este año, vuelvo a instalarme en Tarifa y trabajaré como agente comercial para el importador de F-One. A su vez, estoy feliz de integrar los equipos de F-One internacional y Manera con los que espero vivir nuevas aventuras ! ;)

Little post about our latest kitecamp in Sri Lanka ! That was a perfect 10 days in what I could easily call one of the best kitespots ever. Thanks Srilankakite for having us, Fun and Fly - Sport Away for organizing, and all participants ( Remy Van der Plaetsen, Raphaelle Douté, Bernard Pellegrin, Guy Jourdan, Joaquin Esteves, and Ericd Emmerle ) for rocking on the water ! ;)

Last day of our kitecamp in Sri Lanka with perfect conditions. Guys have been learning plenty new tricks and we are definitely coming back next year to ride this little piece of paradise !! Such great place to ride, thanks Srilankakite !
