Question: clothes washing / drying etiquette
Hello, bit of a random question. I have seen a couple of posts horrified that people were drying their clothes on washing lines outside their motorhomes whilst parked up, and saying no wonder park-ups are getting banned and motorhomes are frowned upon etc etc.
Also seen some posts saying that chairs etc are not allowed outside of motorhomes as it’s classed as ‘camping behaviour’
What is the correct procedure for washing & drying clothes? We would never want to upset anyone but at the same time, we live in this, we are a family of 4 with lots of washing so it’s inevitable we need to keep on top of laundry.
We have a washing line attached to the bus, which we can string down the side and reattach to the bus, so that we don’t have to tie it to a tree or anything, taking up extra room.
Is it acceptable to dry our clothes for a few hours whilst parked at an aire / similar?
Want to do the right thing in this community but genuinely confused!
Ps photo of our washing line hanging freely on an olive tree in Albania without a care in the world
Thanks
